L'Opportuniste 2006 The first syrah harvested in 2006 confirmed its strong personality right from the wine-making process. A rich, robust wine with a rare intensity that did not need maturing in barrels to a give it an exceptional character. It is probably the very best Mortiès vintage to date. *** Guide hachette 2009 / 93 : Wine Advocat 2009
Jamais Content 2009 A classic wine blending for this vintage, characterized by balance and subtlety. The nose is powerful, fresh and complex. Spices and wild herbs are brought to the fore with a beautiful dominant note of minerals. The palate has a youthful balance, whose density is pleasantly offset by genuine freshness as well as an excellent quality of tannins. The strong minerality culminates in a finale of menthol and liquorice notes. This vintage is available to the more impatient customers, but will delight others who have the courage to wait for a few years. 91-92 : Wine Advocat 2009
